You enhanced the patient experience by funding life-changing equipment such as newborn incubators, rehabilitation equipment, and a CPR device. Nearly 500 patients could afford to travel to their cancer treatments or weren’t forced to choose between medicine and food thanks to your support of the Benevolent Care Fund. More than 60 patients reduced their hair loss during chemotherapy thanks to donors funding cooling cap therapy. Because of you, The Gatehouse doors stay open, Nurse-Family Partnership provides guidance to at-risk mothers and babies, and Heartworks offers children a safe place to process grief.
Staff furthered education to bring new services to our region and enhance vital services such as nurse examinations for sexual assault survivors. LPNs advanced their degrees to become RNs thanks to donations to our Clinical Excellence Endowment.
